Canadian Idol 3

Canadians wrote us plenty of letters during AI4, begging us to bring VFTW north of the border. So, of course, we did! Off to a slow start, we couldn't drum up much support in early rounds to help advance the awful Dave Moffatt to the finals. In the semi-final rounds, we noticed a girl who had no stage presence, sang out of tune, and basically resembled a lifeless corpse on stage. That lucky girl was Casey LeBlanc, the new VFTW pick. As support grew, Casey (or "Corpsey LeBland" as we called her here) began to outlast the other contestants. The thing about CI3, though, was that everyone besides Amber, Melissa, and Ashley sucked. Still, with the help of VFTW and those crazy New Brusnwickians, Casey kept continuing on in the competition, butchering "Like a Prayer", "Heaven Help Us All", and shouting the funniest bum note in Idol history during "I Could Write a Book". Casey was the VFTW pick for an unprecedented 6 weeks, setting a new record! She finally met her match in the top 5 and was sent packing. We tried to help Suzi Rawn in the top 4 after she brutally decimated Elvis's "Can't Help Falling in Love", but she had almost no fans by that point and was sent packing. We then helped Rex Goudie because he was by far one of the worst Idol contestants ever. TrainRex shouted songs with no emotion and would have made a laughable Idol, but in the end, talent won out, and the only good singer in the top 7 won. Rex finished in 2nd place, not too shabby, and VFTW had one of its most memorable seasons ever. __________________________
