Randy Jackson Pisses Off America By Resurrecting Katharine McPhee's Singing Career

Just when we thought we'd never have to hear from the bumblebee hooker of melisma ever again after she was dropped from her record label, Randy Jackson has decided to resurrect Katharine McPhee's singing career by giving her a track on his upcoming album. The track is a duet with the misguided Elliott Yamin, who should be focusing on releasing another hit song and not doing crap like this. But here is the terrible song "Real Love". After listening to it, what's your comment? Thanks to MJ's Big Blog for the song leak.

Dunno if I have the right to comment since I didn't listen to the whole thing, but right around the 3 minute mark, I clicked the tab open and saw how much time was left on the song, and decided that three minutes was plenty. Not the worst song I've ever heard, but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck something fierce. The hook kinda reminds me of the George Michael song "Freedom" except I much prefer "Freedom." My main problem with it is that it doesn't seem to end. It's less than four minutes and it felt like I was listening to it for five minutes before I turned it off.

Here's what I think
a) The guy who cleaned up McTata's vocals deserves a raise. Not that she's any less annoying, it's just not as bad
b) If this were JUST Elliot Yamin's song, it wouldn't be as much of a slobshit song.
c) If this song were toned down a bit in the background, they may be able to actually release it. But since it sounds like a happy porn track in the back, this will just be album filler.
McPhee's Grade: D+/C-

that song was so incredibly long, they just repeating the same thing less than halfway through the song. but i like yamin..why is he wasting his time on this crap?!?
Randy is only helping her out so that he can convince Nigel to let her try out for AI8.

Although I think Elliot has an okay enough voice, McTatas sounds like Minnie Mouse - god, she sucks! Damn you, Randy, leave well enough alone!

Can't they just let the failures die?
Well...Elliott sounds nice...but Katharine sounds pretty horrible, especially whatever the hell that melismatic blast was at -1:30 (with a minute thirty left of the song)...and the song itself was pretty bad.
And Randy is putting an album out? Who does he think he is, Timbaland?

Katherine sounds like shit. Elliott sounded good sad that he had to lower himself to have to sing this crappy song with her. I hope he got paid
